Hi,
On MPC5777C, I need to use eMIOS5 in SAIC mode. However, when I assign the eMIOS-function to the pin (SIU_PCR184 = 0x0503), the input signal almost disappears and eMIOS5 never detects any edge. Checking the pin with multimeter I found out that its resistance against GND drops to some 14-15 Ohm after assigning the eMIOS-function - hence the "disappearance" of the input signal.
Temporary re-wiring to eMIOS23 solved the issue, but that's not a long-term option.
Is it possible to use the eMIOS-input function on this pin?

Hi,
words from RM's chapter 3.5 External signal descriptions, multiplexing, and attributes...
Details about external signal functions, their static electrical characteristics, and pad configuration settings for this chip appear in the spreadsheet that is embedded within this document:

Hi,
no, it is not possible to use pin for eMIOS input, it is output only pin

Thanks for explaining. Which document is Your screenshot taken from, please? Because I need to identify all eMIOS channels with this feature ...
