GUI Flash Tool not working when the MCU in Power Low Mode

Hi all,

when I try to use the Program/Erase flash Options direct from MCUXpresso or by using the "GUI Flash Tool" but the MCU has entered into a power low mode, the Debugger is not able to connect with the MCU.

That works without problems when I use the Debug option direct, and the GUI Flash Option works when the MCU is not in Power Low mode.

But I do not want to Debug the Code each time but use direct the Flash Option to change between several Applications.

Is it possible?

Thanks in advance

Could you provide some details about what MCU you are talking about, because it might be specific.

In general terms: if you MCU is in a low power mode with the debug block disabled, there is no way that the debugger will be able to talk to your part. You would need to have it wake up first.

I hope that makes sense,

Erich
