Layerscape JTAG port

Hi,

When programming layerscape CPU with Code warrior programmer is native JTAG used or is the protocol SWD? I need to know wether JTAG TDI connection is required or not.

Does the codewarrior programmer for layerscape with 10-pin arm debug connector only support JTAG or also SWD?

Have you read the processor Design Checklist document?

It is for LS1043A CPU, i see nothing about SWD in checklist/reference manual so i guess it's not supported.

We will just implement the 10-pin JTAG connector.

Only JTAG functions of signals are used.
