LS1012A RDB Default DIP Settings

Hello,

When i power up the LS1012A RDB, the mbed mass storage device folder appears, but in the Device Manager under the COM port tree, no COM port is assigned even though I'm connected to the USB console port.  This prevents me from using a terminal program to view the booting process.

What are the default DIP switch settings for SW1 and SW2 as shipped from the factory?"

My customer fears he bricked the SPI Flash and need to determine if he really did by looking at the booting sequence.

Please verify that mbed USB driver is installed. Use http://mbed.org/handbook/Windows-serial-configuration for references.

Hi Scott

Complete default switch configuration is listed in QorIQ LS1012A

Reference Design Board Getting Started Guide in Chapter 12 (you

need to register to download the document).

Can you verify with your customer that they are powering the board

via 12V external power supply and not only via USB.
