LPC55S36 ETM Trace with IAR

How does one utilize ETM trace debugging on the LPC55S36?

I have activated the 5 pins P1_1, P0_24, P0_28, P0_29 and P0_30 with mode 5 and 6 resp. to activate the outputs.

I have experimented with Debugger, I-JET settings under Trace, but nothing really seems to activate the icon during debugging.

What am I missing?

Hi,

First of all, the LPC553x have ETM module and support trace function.

But the trace function requires dedicated hardware device and software tools, pls refer to the an14330.pdf, which I attached. Although it focuses on the i.mxrt, it also adapts to LPC family.
