FreeRTOS for MKL16z128VFM4(FRDM KL-26Z)

Hi,

I am using FRDM KL-26z board for MKL16z128VFM4 processor.I am using KSDK v 1.3.0 mainline. I want to use FreeRTOS but I couldn't find the FreeRTOS example or even ,when I opened  Processor expert ,in OSs folder,I couldn't find FreeRTOS .c files.Am I using the correct KSDK ? I am not able to find the way out to FreeRTOS usage in KL26Z.

You  can download and install the KSDK2.0, after install , you can find the FreeRTOS demo

Hi,whenever I am pressing Select Configuration after selecting Board-FRDMKL26Z,its not moving forward and returns back to the same page without any error.I tried it randomly by selecting other boards too but  same is happening .

Is there any other way to get ksdk2.0 for FRDM -KL26Z ?

Google chrome but I tried with Internet Explorer and the same thing happened

You can use for this What browser am I using? Is my browser up to date? Web browser detection, Javascript, Cookies, Flash...

1 week back,I had downloaded some Ksdk version by building the SDK and this thing was working even in google chrome.

we have been working on the issue.

But it is strange that you face the issue also in Firefox 44. I have installed Firefox 44 and it works for me on my side.

Yes, I have share it with you, but FRDM-KL26Z (MKL16Z128xxx4) is supported by KSDK 1.3 not by KSDK 2.0.

I randomly tried downloading for other boards too but the KSDK2.0 wasn't getting download for anyone of them

I want to use FreeRTOS for my coding but couldn't find enough examples in KSDK1.3 and as per the discussion ,I thought KSDK2.0 is supported by KL-26Z.

there are a lot of examples, but not all of them are for your board.

Please, take a look at demo I2C RTOS located under C:\Freescale\KSDK_1.3.0\examples\frdmkl26z\demo_apps\i2c_rtos\i2c_rtos_freertos
