What will be the extreme values of ADC result when resolution is 16 bit?

Hi everyone,

                                 When I  run ADC example for TWR K60D100M , it is found that adc result is 32267 when probed to 3.3V and 65523 or 34 etc. for 0v . Adc resolution used in the code is 16bit, so the extreme value should be 65535 and 0 (For 3.3V and 0V ), is it correct?. Is there any change need to achieve this or I went wrong somewhere?
