The VBAT pin in the KM34

I do not use VBAT in my project. So I connect the VBAT pin to ground.

But I want to use the external 32K for the AFE.

Now I find that the external 32K cannot be initialized.It always stays in the function " PLL_Enable (PLL32KREF_SRC1); ".

Is it affected by the VBAT pin connected to ground?

Please check below KM34 block diagram, the 32K OSC was powered from VBAT pin.
