K22 Support for MBED 5?

I asked this over on the MBED forum, but no reply from anyone at NXP. My specific issue is the USB Serial is now not supported for the FRDM-K22F with latest MBED 5.13, This works under MBED 2. Looking at targets.json, USB Serial is not enabled in any of the lower end Kinetis parts anymore.  

So my question - is NXP still supporting MBED?

This software was developed by MBED, unfortunately, we cannot answer this question. 

I suggest using MCUXpresso SDK for the K22 device.
