In general when you want to debug something quickly, you typically add a variable to capture the event you are interesting in. 

Often, it is easier to observe the variable in a scope/recorder view. As a future enhancement, can you please consider in adding a quick option to create pre-configured scopes/recorders with the same inherited properties as the variable in the watch view.

Something like: right click on variable name -> add to new scope/recorder

Hello Daniel, 

this feature is now available in version 3.0.2. Select one or more variables in the watch grid and select Create New Oscilloscope or Create New Recorder in the context menu. The new graph will group variables by the type and size.

Please report any issues you will notice.
