Is there any recommended pull up resistor for SCL and SDA lines of the I2C peripherals. This is for MC56F82748(Anguilla Silver)

I think 4.7K ohm pull-up resistor is okay for the open drain IIC pins: SCL/SDA for MC56F82xxx.

for the 400pF max capacitance and 100kHz max communication speed the max pull-up resistor is 4k7. I suggest you to use 2k7 or 3k3 as pull-ups.
