MCF52259 battery backed up RAM section

I read somewhere that half of the internal ram may be preserved with a battery during power down.

I have searched through my documentation for this but can't find anything.

Is this true or am I dreaming?

If so, what half is preserved?

"Vstby backs up the first 16K of SRAM and the RTC when the main power is shut down".
