QCVS install error

when I install QCVS in eclipse. this error has been occurred.

I use QCVS for qoriq power version 4.5.0.00001 . the eclipse version is "Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers 4.4.2".

Any body can help me.

The required Touchpoint: com.freescale.updater.touchpoint 1.0.0 touchpoint for the collect action is not included in the installation manager configuration.

I had a similar problem with the same error message ! Juno 4.2 + QCVS for qoriq power version 4.5.0.00001

So I follow advices fromaddiyi‌ which are good, but I omited to install the "Eclipse Freescale Solutions Category" first. That was my second problem.

So,

1. Add a new repository into eclipse : Help -> Install New Software :
   • Add :  http://freescale.com/lgfiles/updates/Eclipse/QCVS
2. Firstly install : Eclipse Freescale Solutions Category, only ! -> Restart eclipse.
3. Secondly install the : QorIQ Configuration and Validation Suite 4.5. -> Restart eclipse

Everything work fine .

Hi

I use eclipse 4.2 Juno.

I find "Eclipse Freescale Solutions Category" at Processor Expert Software, Microcontroller Driver S|NXP  and install it.

and then I try to install QCVS but it error "No action found for: com.freescale.updater.customActions.freescaleprocesscheck."

I cant use from this link : http://freescale.com/lgfiles/updates/Eclipse/QCVS_PA .

I think that  "Eclipse Freescale Solutions Category" has mistake. where can I download it?

The correct update site for installing QCVS + FSL Updater is http://freescale.com/lgfiles/updates/Eclipse/QCVS for only ARM support or http://freescale.com/lgfiles/updates/Eclipse/QCVS_PA​ for QCVS 4.5 release including ARM + PA support.

Please refer to QCVS Installation Guide, chapter 3.2.

This can only be access using the CodeWarrio SW under Help > Install new SW

1. Inside of the CodeWarrior Tools click on Help > Install New Software
2. You will see the updates that are abaiable for your software
3. Can you send a Screen capture of what you see please.
