Hello,
I have tried using the CW on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64 bits.

The installation was apparently a success.

I'm trying to program MCF51JM32 using the PEMicro Multilink Universal. Driver PemicroLinuxDrivers_2015_02_02.

The error is seen in this screenshot.

The log console:

=== CodeWarrior GDI protocol log ===

GDI DLL: /opt/Freescale/CodeWarrior_MCU_10.2/MCU/CodeWarrior/CodeWarrior_Plugins/Debugger/Protocols/../../Support/ColdFire/gdi/cf_pne_gdi.so

CPU: MCF51JM32

GDI: DiGdiOpen()

GDI: => DI_ERR_FATAL

GDI: The Debugger can not reset the connected hardware.

Can anyone help me? Codewarrior for Linux has not been good. Only works on Ubuntu 10... =S

The best solution: Virtualbox.

Hello Almir,

per CW10.2 system requirement, it can support Ubuntu 10.04 only. it wasn't tested under Ubuntu 14.04.

So officially CW10.2 doesn't support Ubuntu 14.04.

Have a great day,
Zhang Jun

Hello, ZhangJennie,

So officially unsupported. But there are possibilities, right?
It would be interesting to list the dependencies and their versions to run on other versions of Ubuntu.
I am limited to one OS version.

Best regards,
