CW 11.1 Error - Error initializing Debug Database.

When opening a new empty workspace Code warrior dumps the error:

Error initializing Debug Database.

Could not load debug database. This is indication of an installation or configuration problem. Please contact customer support.

There was allready a similar issue with a previes version.

But there is no solution that works for me. 

This present’s me from debugging and flashing applications. Diagnostic report attached.

Hello @kaspt ,

Thanks for your post. Are you logging on Windows with Administrator right?  Could you please install the CodeWarrior under the default path?

C:\Freescale\CW MCU v11.1

Or you can also try the method in the following post:

Help with the "Debug Database Initialization" message? - NXP Community

Download the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)" from Microsoft and repair the package that was installed with CW to see if it works.

I installed code warrior under a different path (not the default one) now it works.
