I guess you mean CodeWarrior for MCU and Kinetis Design Studio, correct?

Depending on your selected Kinetis device, CodeWarrior is not supporting new Kinetis parts, but if you have a legacy one then it is still an option. The next is a good comparison article by colleague Erich Styger:

:smileyalert: Just notice that the comparison was made with KDS v1.1.1. Kinetis Design Studio has suffered some changes since then. KDS v3.0.0 has just been released yesterday:

That's a very generic question, so here is a generic answer: it all depends on your needs.

For a comparison, you might have a look at "Comparing CodeWarrior with Kinetis Design Studio | MCU on Eclipse".

But in general: Usage of Kinetis Design Studio is recommended for new projects and new Kinetis designs, as all new development goes into KDS (and Kinetis SDK).
