for IMXRT1170, is it possible to load the same encrypted data in two locations and use remapping, together OTFAD to read one or the other image? Will OTFAD use the remapped address as counter, instead of physical address?

I want to use external tool to encrypt the data and load the same image in either location. If is possible, please let me know what settings are necessary.

Hi @mihaisavu ,

for IMXRT1170, it is possible to load the same encrypted data in two locations and use remapping, and together OTFAD to read either of them depending on remapping is enabled or not, but OTFAD doesn't care about the remapping addresses, it is just used to decrypts any reads from FlexSPI and returns them on the AHB bus.

Hope that makes sense,

Have a great day,
Kan

Hi Kan,
Thanks for your reply. I was hoping there is a way to let OTAFAD know about remapping but it seems there isn't

Mihai
