Hi: NXP technical support

I have meet a wired issue. I use MCUXpresso IDE V25.6 on windows 11 PC with Jlink Plus debug tool and NXP MIMX1176DVMAA as a target(board: MIMXRT1170-EVKB).

I load a SDK example (lvgl_guider_bm_cm7) to use the Jlink's flash driver. and it works and I could load my code to my target successfully. but I will get an issue as below(as figure 1): Failed to execute MI command: -data-disassemble -s 3735928558 -e 3735928642 -- 3 Error message from debugger back end: Cannot access memory at address 0xdeadbeee, I could not debug my project.

and if I remove the main function lin82 code(as figure 2), I will load/debug my code sucessfully.

Hope to receive your reply as soon as possible. Thank you very much

Hi @zhuangfei ,

Thanks for your interest in NXP MIMXRT series!

我在本地执行了测试,demo项目可以正常debug。你能尝试一下最新的SDK吗?以下是我的测试环境:

- RT1170-EVKB / JLink Plus
- MCUXpressoIDE  v25.6
- SDK:25.06.00

Hi,@Gavin

I am very glad to receive your reply.

I am using the latest SDK package as shown in the image below.

In addition, I would like to ask, is there a problem with my JLINK tool?

Hi @zhuangfei ,

I'm not sure if this is a problem with your debugger. The RT1170-EVKB has an on-board MCU-Link, you can change its firmware to Jlink and try again using this on-board JLink debugger.

Best regards,
Gavin
