Dear Support

I know there is a link here -https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-RT-Knowledge-Base/RT-s-System-Clocks/ta-p/1151118

But I still don't get it, if a peripheral is not initialised ,  is the clock to it disabled by default or enabled?

If it is enabled, there must be a easy way to disable it in clock configuration tool, the above link only specify how to change the clock speed and possibly source, but it doesn't say how to disable it, sorry, if I missed it.

Thank you in advance!

Hello,

Thank you in advance for contacting NXP support.

For the unused peripherals the clock the clock will remain disable by default, is necessary to enable each clock in order to make usage of the peripherals. Please let me know if there is anything else where I can help you.
