using JPEG HW encoder on i.MX6Q under LTIB

Hi,

I want to use a jpeg library under linux that uses the hardware encoder/decoder on i.MX6Q.

Q: How do I select and use the proper library under LTIB?

As a side note:

- I have already tried to enable the jpeglib package with ltib config tool (./ltib -c) but could not find any jpeg header file to inlcude

- also when I unzipped the package and looked into the documentation it was very general and did not have any specific reference to HW support

The jpeglib is general Linux package, which does not use hardware features of the i.MX6 VPU.

Please try the i.MX6 multimedia framework, linked below. In addition please refer to

“i.MX_6Dual6Quad_VPU_API_Reference_Manual.pdf” in Linux documentation.
