Hi,

we are tested imx6solo with LPDDR2(NT6TL128M32AQ-G1) chip.During testing time we can set ARM core 1 GHz ,DDR size is 512 MB,DDR clock 400Mhz after that started the read write calibration ,that time calibration started line displayed and hanging.on probing the DDR clock ,clock is not coming. LPDDr2 32 bit bus width,14 row and 10 col.

LPDDR2 maximum voltage level is 1.35 AND WE ARE GIVING 1.5 V.This is make an issue for this ddr2 booting.

How we can solve this one,Please check the attached script file for DDR2 stress tools.

Hi Venkatesh,

LPDDR2 should not cause hanging, probably it is wrong chip

(damaged due to overvoltage) or smth wrong with hardware.

For i.MX6S  LPDDR2 settings please check below links

https://community.freescale.com/docs/DOC-94790

https://community.freescale.com/docs/DOC-94922

i.MX 6Solo LPDDR2 Registry Settings

Issue: On i.MX 6Solo designs using LPDD2 memory,

the correct settings for two

important registries may be confusing to determine.

Solution:

1) MMDCx_MDMISC register, LPDDR2_2CH Field: For the

i.MX 6Solo processor, this

field should always be set to '0'.

Reason: Two channel mode is not possible on this processor.

Only channel MMDC0 is connected to external pins.

2) IOMUXC_SW_PAD_CTL_PAD_DRAM_RESET register, DDR_SEL Field:

For the i.MX 6Solo processor, this field should always be set to "00".

Actually you can start with SDK, check that board is not hanging. Then run DDR tester and

calibration. You can run SDK with jtag

"MX6_PLATFORM_SDK "

Hi,

We have configured in same settings only, changed the DDR2 input voltage from 1.5 to 1.3 and gives the board input supply from RPS previously we given supply from micro USB only. DDR stress tool running that time clock also came,We tried same setting in UBOOT flash_header.S file but that time we didn't get anything in the DDR clock points. What we are missing let me know please update this issue ASAP.

thanks by,

Venkat
