no ipu interrupts sometimes

Hi,

Our coustom board is based on i.mx53 & we are using linux 2.6.35.

We are using mxc_v4l2_overlay.out application to capture & display.

Everything works fine, but sometimes there is no data on display.

We found that when there is no data on display, there is no ipu interrupt generated.

In working/non-working case, the code flow is same & there is no error.

I am not sure why the ipu interrupt is not getting generated sometimes?

Please help us to understand the problem.

Hi praveen,

If there is any issue, you should see some error/warning messages in your console, also make sure to enable the camera input modprobe mxc_v4l2_capture. I suggest to read Chapter 11 of you MX53 BSP documentation linux reference manual in order to check all options and usage of the ipu unit test codes.
