mmc_init fails in SPL of u-boot-boundary v2020.10 on nitrogen8m

Hi all,

I am using a nitrogen8m with u-boot-boundary v2020.10 (as used in meta-freescale-3rdparty's u-boot-boundary recipe). I want to access the mmc from within u-boot spl. However, already the mmc_init function fails. The error seems to occur in mmc_go_idle in driver/mmc/mmc.c which returns with -110. I would be glad if someone can point in into the right direction to find the cause.

nitrogen8m is third party board developed and supported by its vendor : boundary devices.
