insmod error: unknown relocation 3

Hi all,

I am working i.MX6Q SABRESD board with TI wl18xx module, which os is Android 6.0.1.

I have compiled wl18xx driver from TI's release and built them with module.

When I try to insert a ko file: insmod /system/lib/modules/compat.ko

I got the error message: unknown relocation 3

Please guide me how to solve this error.

Hi Wayne

this may be due to different kernel version,

suggest to request from ti drivers for L3.14.52,

which is version for android 6.0.1.
