imx28evk Yocto Krogoth refusing to generate uImage

Hi,

I have a custom board based of the imx28evk using Yocto Krogoth 4.1.36 kernel and it's refusing to generate a uImage for the mfgtool. In my local.conf I have added KERNEL_IMAGETYPE = "uImage", I've cleansstated / -c complied -f / -c deployed / the kernel ( linux-fsl, virtual/kernel ) many times but always end up with a fresh zImage. Frustrating..

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Like usual after battling all day, post for an answer here and then crack the problem! For anyone else add KERNEL_IMAGETYPE = "uImage" to  => /meta-fsl-arm/conf/machine/imx28evk.conf
