i.MX8DualX+ Power Up Timing

Hello,

Section 4.2.1 "Power-up Sequence" lists the order in which the i.MX8Quad/DualX power supplies need to come up for proper operation.  It says that each power group can power up in sequence or "simultaneously" with the other groups.  How close to hitting their nominal voltage do they need to be to be considered "simultaneous"?

Thanks,

Jeff

Thanks for the reply, but maybe my question wasn't clear enough.  I'm looking for the timing of the power supplies coming up to their nominal voltages as listed in Table 9.  For example, if they all come up and are stable with 1us of each other is that suitable?  What about 5us?  10us?

Thanks,

Jeff

if they are stable with 0us of each other (immediately) it is suitable.

Hi jbrayadec

regarding "How close to hitting their nominal voltage", voltage should be within

range specified Table 9. Operating ranges

i.MX 8DualX Industrial Applications Processors - Data Sheet

Also sect.4.2.1 has Note:

The definition of “power-up” refers to a stable voltage operating within the
range defined in Table 9.
