it is supported by hardware but nxp linux bsp does not support
such configuration. Currently supported formats can be found in driver
mxc-isi-cap.c\imx8\platform\media\drivers - linux-imx - i.MX Linux kernel
For porting and testing camera driver may be useful unit test
