i.MX6 SPDIF 96KHz playback support

Hi Community,

BSP 3.14.28.

I am able to get 48KHz, playback using SPDIF out.

96KHz playback is not working. I have not seen any error in SPDIF register.

96KHz playback support is available? Or any modification is required?

I am trying to imx6 spdif output to play audio files.

but i can not get it work.

When i play files, it blocked and never return back.

Could you tell me how you get your spdif output playback worked?

seems s/pdif driver does not support it as described in attached Linux

Manual sect.31.1.3 Software Overview

Is there any software limitation or hardware limitation?

However Manual mentioned that 96KHz capture support is available.

96KHz , 24 bit is now very generalized audio requirement.
