Hi,
I would like to add a PCIE x1 Giga LAN solution on i.MX6 DualLite platform.
But I cannot enable PCIE interface. There is no clock output from CLK1_P/N. see below picture.
Also see attached for boot log and software setting.
The kernel version is 4.9.88
Thank you for your help!
Hi Shichin
one can choose i.MX6DL Sabre SD configuration, it has only internal pcie clock option
imx6dl-sabresd.dts\dts\boot\arm\arch - linux-imx - i.MX Linux kernel
Linux 4.9.88_2.0.0 BSP & Multimedia Codecs Documentation
In general selection for pcie external clock is performed by ext_osc = <1>; as in example on

Hi igor,
After do the modification of device tree, the clock is okay and output 100MHz from i.MX6 to PCI-E LAN card. (Solution is Realtek RTL8111H).
But we debug another issue like below link,
https://community.nxp.com/thread/321964
We need set MTU=500 (original default value is 1500) for LAN output packet normlly work or it cannot send any output packet.
It seems that the issue of above linked still exist in the kernel.(Linux YOCTO version 4.9.88-imx_4.9.88_2.0.0_ga+g159b147)
Do you have any updated about the issue?
Thanks!
Sincerely,
Shichin
