gdb setup for imx287 evk

I am trying to setup the gdb setup for imx287 evk board as per the attached document.  gdb version I used is 7.4.

I struck at step no 6 in the section 4, i.e not able to build native version(including gdb server).

Please can any one help out by providing the commands for the step no 6. In the document it has been given for imx6.
