Is the source code for the fsl-mm-codecs available for the iMX53?
I have a customer that would to recompile the libraries with with the hard float option.
Is this source code Freescale's, or was it provided by the IP vendor?

No, the source code is not available, if your customer wants to recompile, he would need to check with each IP vendor of each codec.
