eMMC request timeut error

We have a custom IMX8MM board with a 4GB eMMC chip connected.

We see the following error while emmc read/write test on the eMMC device:

mmc0: request with tag: 16 flags: 0x2000000002469030 timed out

Can anyone suggest why this timeout may have occurred ?

Hi,

i.MX8MM EMMC has never encountered such a problem, and you need to provide the following detailed information:

1. Is the customer's EMMC 1.8V IO or 3.3V IO?

2. Is the customer using LPDDR4 or DDR4?

3. Can the board start normally?

4. If possible, please provide the pdf schematic diagram and linux startup log.

Thanks for the quick reply.

The customer eMMC is 1.8v. It uses LPDDR4 and the board boots fine as well.

Sorry cannot share the schematic for privacy reasons.

The error also seems related to command queue.
