Does i.MX8 VPU encode support V4L2_Y12 format input source to make avi or mp4?

use unit_test/V4L2_VPU/ or GSTL VPU used demo

sorry for my delay, do you mean raw 12 bits data input, right? current vpu doesn't support this format, and imx8x uses ISI to capture video and can support raw data, you can convert this in the ISI first, then send it to the vpu

vpu doesn't support raw data, but ISI does, i.mx8x uses ISI to convert data, for detailed information about ISI, pls refer to the imx8x reference manual, which has detailed information, and also check Figure 1-1. i.MX 8QuadXPlus/i.MX 8DualXPlus Simplified Block Diagram, you can find the data flow from camera
