Hello,

I'm currently working on the i.Mx6.

I'm looking to modify the "master key".

It seems that the OTPMK key has already been fused on my board. By reading bit 0 of the SNVS_HP register, the OTPMK_ZERO bit is at 0.

However, the SSM_ST bit content is equal to 1011 (0xb), which means that my device is in Non-secure mode.

In this specific case, I can no longer modify the OTPMK key, is this correct?

Can I use the ZMK key instead of the OTPMK ?

What is the correct procedure to do that ?

Do I have to put the device in secure mode for the ZMK key to be taken into account?

Best Regards

-> Correct, burned by Factory prior to shipping the device.

What is the correct procedure to do that?

-> Please refer to section 6.9.3. (ZMK programming guidelines)

Best regards

Harvey
