Single stepping not working on iMX53 EC7 platform.

Hi,

I am developing an Embedded Compact 7 based application on an iMX53 platform.

I have generated the SDK for the board and built a simple application using this SDK. I can download the application onto the board and can set breakpoints but single stepping does not work, it simply continues on.

Has anyone seen this kind of problem before or suggest what might be causing this? I am using Visual Studio 2008 with the latest platform builder.

I discovered the cause of the problem. There is a known issue with Visual Studio 2008 and Embedded Compact 7 and the following update addresses this issue. I have appplied the upadate and single stepping works.
