According to the CST-2.3.2 documentation, the "Security Configuration" argument should not be present in the CSF description file when using HAB4. Yet the AN4581 (for HAB4) always uses "Security Configuration = Open" in all its CSF description file examples.

Hello,
according to Table 3 (Header arguments) of the HAB Code-Signing Tool
User’s Guide, Security Configuration option relates to fused security configuration,
that may be as "Engineering" or "Production" and is used for HAB3.
Please use the recent AN4581 (Rev. 1, 10/2015).

Hi Yuri,
thanks for your answer. The argument "Security Configuration = Open" is present in the imx-test examples, not in the AN; my bad.
Anyways, after your answer I assume that it is indeed only used for HAB3, and has no effect on HAB4.
Correct : "it is indeed only used for HAB3, and has no effect on HAB4".
Regards,
Yuri.
