SDK for SDMA functionality on IMX8MQ

I am working on the EVK-MIMX8MQ. I would like to use the SDMA functionality on the IMX8MQ but do not see any SDMA files in the driver folder. I see that the the IMX8MM has the SDK for SDMA. Could someone (preferably from NXP) please share the SDK for the IMX8MQ SDMA and ECSPI_SDMA? When can we expect to see it as a part of the online driver download?

Hi,

As you already mentioned, the SDMA driver is included on the SDK for i.MX8M Mini but is not available on the SDK for i.MX8MQ. There are not public plans about possible integration of this on future SDK releases for i.MX8MQ. In case of requiring this feature, you could request it on NXP Professional Services or discussing it with your assigned FAE.
