Hi,
We have custom iMX6Q based HW. I remember last time it being really pain to get MFGTool recompiled but somehow I managed.
Now there was modification to HW and I need to update MFGTool Linux system as well. I managed to get it compiled and it boots but always stops at this:
ALSA device list:
No soundcards found.
Freeing unused kernel memory: 736K (80cee000 - 80da6000)
Starting UTP
uuc 0.5 [built Aug 24 2017 06:21:04]
UTP: Waiting for device to appearUTP: file/device node /dev/utp already exist
cpu_id is 0
Nothing happens after that.
I'm using Yocto 2.2 (morty) and latest meta-freescale - layer version. Linux kernel version is 4.1.15
I made sure that I was using the imx_v7_mfg_defconfig stated in the manual but that didn't help any.
Has anyone managed to recompile mfgtools with Yocto 2.1 or 2.2 or any idea what might be the problem?
This is the same problem I was having with the older 3.10.17 kernel based Yocto, but there I got it sorted someway. I just don't remember anymore how.

This was in fact the case! I went through the device tree and fixed the pin and now the mfgtool system boots and update starts!
