Read GPIO pin as fast as possible??

Hi.

I'm working on a i.MX28 evk board and I want to read 1 byte from GPIO pins as fast as possible.

I'm workin with Linux OS and I would polling continuously GPIO pin.

Do you have any suggestion?

Hello,Matteo,

     I can understand your meaning. I feel if you want to get to your participation, Real time OS should be selected ! Such as Real Time linux , QNX , VXworks etc.

     Under common linux OS(non-real time), it is very difficult to improve more .
