Hi,

Does iMX8MM support PCIe hot-plug? I saw some previous questions about iMX6 which had contradicting answers as it supports and not supports. Regarding iMX8 https://community.nxp.com/thread/494660  this shows as it does not support but RM shows the registers for hot plug. Could you pleaase help to clarify this since we are in a time crunch for a proposal. Thanks

Hi Igor,

Thanks for the reply. There is no reference examples but the standard PCIe BSP has the feature enabled. Is my understanding correct.

Hi Igor:

How can we verify the PCIe hotplug feature/support by using the NXP demo board (imx8mm-evk)?

Best regards.

I confirmed it with i.mx expert hardware team again.

So clarify it again.

Hardware: PCIe interface doesn't support Hot plug.

software:  Not support Hot plug, too.

DON'T USE HOT PLUG feature of PCIe On i.MX8MM.

Up to now, PCIe interface of all imx processors(i.MX6/7/8) doesn't support Hot plug.

Have a nice day!
