Need second gpio pin

Hey folks,

I'm already toggling the USER led on my i.MX53 QSB via the GPIO7 register. That works pretty fine.

Now I need a second GPIO pin that i can control via software and that is (easily) accessible from

outside.

Can U help me? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Assuming you are not using the microphone, have you considered MIC_DET_B (PATA_DATA6=GPIO2_GPIO[6])?

Similarly, if you are not using the headset output, you could try HEADPHONE_DET_B (PATA_DATA5=GPIO2_GPIO[5]).
