Mfgtool flashing issue

Hello all,

I am seeing a tar error at the very end of a flash which i am attaching. Can anybody guess what's the exact issue?

Has anybody got similar issue ? Please let me know as soon as possible.

The error itself (invalid tar magic) means that tar does not find archive signature.

It may be caused with damaged image.

Hello victor,

The same image is untarred in many other boards. That's the tricky part.

I want to know when such error might occur? Not one instance of it.

Hello All,

This issue was solved when i renamed rootfs.tar.bz2 to rootfs.tar.

This is a work around but surely worked for me.
