Message Queues

I'm using the Yocto Freescale   core-image-base on the SABRE i.MX6 QUAD evaluation board.

I'd like to use message queues but they don't seem to be supported in this kernel?   Is that true or am I missing something?

Hello Janet Estabridis,

If you are referring to POSIX message queues these are not enabled by default, but you may use menuconfig to enable this function under General Setup > POSIX Message Queues.

CAN YOU HELP ME OUT?  I really want to enable the POSIX message queues and I've never recompiled a kernel for NXP.
