MIPI DSI max display resolution

What is the maximum display resolution for MIPI DSI?

Is it 1280x720 (as it is mentioned in IMX6DQRM Rev. 3, 07/2015) or is it 1024x768 (IMX6QLXRM Rev L3.0.35_4.1.0, 09/2013)?

We would like to connect the 1280x720 Super AMOLED display to our IMX6Q board, and we wonder if it has any chance to work correctly?

The maximum possible display resolution on the MIPI DSI interface of the i.MX6Dual/Quad processors is 1280x720 pixels, as specified in the Reference Manual document.
