Hi
Please can you give me some guidance as to how to recompile the RT1024 bootloader example in MCUXpresso to run XIP from flash as per AN12604. Can we use Reliable Update?
Thanks
Hi @PaulH_68 ,
Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and for the opportunity to serve you.
According to your statement, it seems that you want to port the AN12604 to the RT1024, moreover, the demo is built by the MCUXpresso IDE. Is my understanding right?
If yes, there's no guide or similar documents to illustrate the porting steps until now, in a word, it needs the developer to do it by himself.
Definitely, you can apply for some support from us if you encounter some troubles.
Have a great day,
TIC

Yes you are correct in what we are trying to do.
Now I have tried the OTA flashloader example for MIMXRT1060-EVK on MIMXRT1062-EVK board using SDK v 2.8.4 and MCUXpresso v11.5.1 but it does not respond to <blhost -p COM4 -j -- get-property 1> command. I tried running from flash boot and in debug mode. I also tried the RAM flashloader example for RT1062 in debug which also does not respond to blhost command.
I loaded "Hello World" example to check hardware and it is ok!
I can run RAM flashloader example for RT1052 which does work ok on MIMXRT1050-EVK.
Any reason why RT1062 OTA flashloader should not work?
When OTA flashloader for RT1062 works, then I can port it for RT1052 and RT1024
Thanks
