We have a design similar to the QSB but uses the MC34709 PMIC. Will the MC34708 Touch screen driver work with the MC34709 PMIC? The MC34709 ADC system looks very much like that of the CM34708.

The touch panel driver is same for them, you can reference to the attached application note "Chapter 7 Migrating from MC34708 to MC34709".
