Just a simple question according to the i.MX8mq to confirm the information from the manual, for example if I need to share a SAI bus between 2 or more CODEC ICs, in a TDM configuration, the only way to do this is by using the SAI1?
In the documentation they mention that in order to transfer several channels ( not clear if data or audio channels) you need to configure the bit fields TCE[] or RCE[] for Tx or Rx respectively. In the i.mx8 reference manual section 13.10 it says that this bit fields have to be set, but seems like only for the SAI1 it allows multiple channels, for any other SAI module it only allows 1 channel. I think I need more clarification on how to setup all the registers for TDM.
