Have any body tried interfacing miracast using iMX6 for transferring video over Wi Fi.
if done can anyone just specify how to go about.

Try the latest Android images downloadable from www.freescale.com/imx. See if they give you what you want.
Actually there is no complete support of miracast in i.MX6 boards. However can utilize the features like Atheros WiFi which is located on i.MX6 Sabre SDP board and display I2C driver control and build the miracast yourself.
