We are designing a consumer product with IMX6UL processor.We would also like to use IMX6ULL processor as a drop-in replacement for IMX6UL, in our future PCB builds.
Can you please provide clarification on the following.
Q1. What are the differences between IMX6UL and IMX6ULL ,that needs to be considered in processor interface.Any design documents on IMX6ULL would be much appreciated.
Q2. Can you please provide us the datasheet/Reference manual/Hardware design guide of IMX6ULL. Only EVK design files are available for IMX6ULL.

We have designed one system using imx6 UL and wants to upgrade to the imx6ULL, did you tried imx6ull replacement of imx6ul version? Do we need to do any changes in hardware/PCB?

Can you please confirm the function of pin "R15",of iMX6ULL.
Q1: Is it assigned to power "VDD_HIGH_CAP" or any other pins.
Please find the image on Pg126 of IMX6ULL (Industrial grade) with R15 mentioned as "VDD_HIGH_CAP2".
At page 115 of the datasheet,R15 is not assigned to any of the pins.

Hello,
There are two pins VDD_HIGH_CAP (R14) and VDD_HIGH_CAP2(R15), that must
be tied together (and named VDD_HIGH_CAP). The doc team is informed about it.
Also, please refer to the i.MX6ULL EVK design.
