IMX6Q: 1.2GHz support

Dear all,

I would like to use my imx6q with 1.2GHz as max freq  for the arm core but it seems that different imx6q version exists ( automotive version seems to not be able to support this freqency) and that some fuse configuration can prevent me from this speed.

I'm having right now a IMX6Q10AVT10AC

Today in my fuse SPEED_GRADING, i'm getting 10, so a 1000MHz support. Can i bypass this value without any damage to my chip ? Shall i get a new cut/revision from my vendor as IMX6Q10AVT12AC ?

I would be pleased to enlighted on this subject.

Best regards.

Stéphane

Hi Stéphane

recommended to use IMX6Q10AVT12AC as they are tested on factory,

for other chips operation at such frequencies is not guaranteed.

Best regards

igor
